ShadowBolt Pin by SilverSlinger ShadowBolt Pin by SilverSlinger

One of a Kind

This piece is a donation to the Nightmare Nights 2013 charity auction

Happy Nightmare Night Everypony!

More jewelry can be seen here: silverslinger.deviantart.com/g…

What better a design to make in honor of Nightmare Night, and/or Halloween then the symbol worn by the Shadowbolts!  This piece was hand crafted out of sterling silver sheet and wire, and measures 2.1 inches in height by 0.7 of an inch in width.  It's made up of five separate pieces, and has two layers to it for dimension.  The first layer is the skull and back part of the wing.  The second layer consists of 4 separate pieces puzzled together to finish the wing.  The crevices in between the wing parts were than antiqued black.

On the back, there are two straight back pins with nickel clutches to prevent the pin from turning when worn. At the top and bottom of the jaw, where the silver sheet gets thinner, I reinforced it with heavy sterling silver wire.

Wow, it's flawless!

The process sounds fun but it must have taken quiet awhile to complete this.
