Celestia Raises the Sun by SilverSlinger Celestia Raises the Sun by SilverSlinger
One of a Kind. Sold at the 2012 Canterlot Gardens charity auction for $310.00.
The auction can be watched here: [link]

As a filly, Twilight Sparkle witnessed Princess Celestia raising the sun during the Summer Sun Celebration, which inspired her to learn all she could about magic.

Well, you know how it goes :D

This piece was hand fabricated with sterling silver, copper, and brass sheet. It's a one of a kind pendant. It measures about 2 inches in width, and 1 3/4 in height.

It has been confirmed! This piece will be auctioned off at the Canterlot Garden's charity auction.

I have many other designs in the works. Some will also be made of sterling silver, copper, and brass, like this piece, and others will be made using more affordable materials.

Will you be at Canterlot Gardens? If you are it'll at least be worth shot to bid on it. You never know, it can go pretty cheap. I've set no reserves on any of my pieces.

One-of-a-kind, as in, never to be "mass" produced? Being an Ohioan, I'll even be at Canterlot Gardens, but there's no way I'll be able to outbid some of the other bronies. Beautiful piece though.

That is correct. This piece will not be mass produced.

I'll be at Canterlot Gardens myself :D Hope to see you there!

Wanted to update that I was miraculously able to win this after all. A little in the red now, but I couldn't be happier to obtain such a beautiful item and donate to such a good cause. Thank you for everything!

Hey congratulations! :D It's to bad I couldn't congratulate you in person ^^; I kept an eye out for the people who won my jewelry at the auction, but didn't come across anyone...Except my roommate who was the one who purchased the Mare in the Moon Ring.

Anyway, Thanks again for your purchase! Each piece I make means a lot to me so take good care of it :D

You should probably have some kind of model to go with the look. Will you be making more of these? How much does it weigh?

This piece in particular will be one of a kind. And it's going to be donated to the Canterlot Gardens Charity auction, along with a couple others.

I believe it weighs in around 2/3 an ounce or so.

This one looks simple amazing.
How did you fix the pieces together? Did you silver solder them or simple glued them?

Oh no, I never use glue. I tacked them together with an arc welder, then for extra security I used silver solder.
